Der PLATINUM-Unterschied

Konventionelles Trockenfutter

Bei herkömmlichem Trockenfutter für Hunde stammen die Proteine in der Regel aus einem geringen Anteil Fleischmehl und hauptsächlich aus Getreide und Getreidenebenprodukten. Nach der Zugabe von Wasser wird der aus diesen Bestandteilen zusammengesetzte Nahrungsbrei hoch erhitzt und unter starkem Druck zu Kroketten gepresst. Jede einzelne Hundefutter-Krokette ist von einer Stärkeschicht umschlossen, die im Magen des Hundes zunächst aufgeschlossen werden muss. Durch die Dauer dieses Prozesses verweilt das Futter lange im Magen. Die Restfeuchte von herkömmlichem Trockenfutter liegt bei ca. 8 %.

PLATINUM geht einen anderen Weg

Wir verwenden bei der Herstellung mindestens 70 % frisches Fleisch. Dazu kommen weitere leicht verdauliche Zutaten wie Reis, Mais und/oder Kartoffeln sowie hochwertige kaltgepresste Öle, Kräuter, Vitamine und Mineralien.

Und: Als einziger Hersteller können wir durch die im Frischfleisch enthaltene Feuchtigkeit komplett auf die Zugabe von Wasser verzichten und unsere Nahrung besonders nährstoffschonend ausschließlich im eigenen Fleischsaft garen. So erhält PLATINUM seine hochwertige Qualität.

Alles andere als trocken

Durch die Garung im eigenen Fleischsaft und die langsame und schonende Trocknung bei Raumtemperatur im Anschluss hat PLATINUM einen höheren Feuchtigkeitsgehalt als konventionelles Trockenfutter.

Mit 18 % Restfeuchte, rein aus Fleischsaft, ist PLATINUM alles andere als trocken. Das trägt wesentlich zum Geschmackserlebnis bei. Unsere Kunden sagen sogar, PLATINUM ist die saftige Trockennahrung.
